You can take the girl out of the Asylum, but you can take the Asylum out of the girl.

“What happens in the Asylum stays in the Asylum. But this is probably because we’re not allowed outside.”

“It’s heartbreaking. I know the true you and you know the true me. People that say those things don’t know us. For years I hid in a cubicle, hating my life because I was afraid of stepping out and doing what I loved because I was afraid of what others would say or they would judge. But you know what? I love my life and I love that I got to meet you and that you are my best friend and we have a heart connection doing things we love. And in the end, that is all that matters. I know your heart. I know how beautiful you are inside and out. We just need to shine our lights even brighter with love to all, and not let the hate or misjudgements dampen our light in the world. You have touched so many people and changed so many people’s lives. You have inspired so many. The people that don’t understand or that have to put down others to feel better about themselves need hugs the most. We’re on a love revolution. It starts with all of us. I love you forever. You have changed my life with your true friendship and love.”

“An eye for an eye, a heart for a heart, a soul for a soul. We fight for the dream, we fight to the death, we fight for control.”

— Emilie Autumn — Fight Like A Girl.
